News Flash!

I have some very important news for you all. It was an oversight on my part, but I forgot to inform you that on Thursday there will be a Grammar test.

It will be on adjectives, so know what an adjective is and how to use them correctly and effectively.

Even have a look at adjectives of degree. You know, comparitives and superlatives (you know how to say it!).

Bring Weeks

Our bring weeks program was taken home today. Here are the items on the list:

• Wrapped lollies
• Sporks
• Coathangers
• Sweet chilli sauce
• 500g white rice
• Cocoa powder
• Crushed pineapple
• Wrapped Chocolates
• Prizes
• Softdrink Cans

Please remember, you don't have to bring everything on the list. If you want to bring only some of the items, that is fine.

Remember this, next Thursday your Ballad is going to be performed, so be practising!

Australian Ballads

Are you ready for your challenge? Well here it is...

Your challenge is to choose an Australian ballad which you will say in front of the class in a couple of weeks. Go to this website and choose one of the ballads http://australianpoems.tripod.com/. There are plenty to choose from. Choose a ballad that you will enjoy tellling the story of.

Once you have chosen you ballad, print it off and bring it to school tomorrow.

To get a prize however, what you need to do is tell me what ballad you are doing by writing a comment on here. I look forward to having no jelly beans left tomorrow.
