IPod Touch

IPods are a type of electronic device. IPods are portable computers that are the perfect size to fit in a person’s hand or pocket (11cm x 6cm).

Appearance
IPods are thin and come in a variety of sizes and colours. They have fragile glass screens that are used to choose what it is intended for. When using the IPod, there is a circular button on the front exterior which when pressed will take the user to the home page. IPods come with reflective metal backs. There is also an assortment of cases that can be bought in a wide range of colours, patterns and designs.

Features
IPods come with a wide variety of features that can be used in everyday life. They come with a glass touch screen used for controlling the console. The user can download a wide collection of apps (applications) which includes gaming programs, calculators, music, books, backgrounds, contacts, dictionaries, bibles and videos. The standard IPod touch comes with a built in camera which stores photos that can be used as backgrounds or uploaded on the internet. 

Uses
This electronic device has a wide selection of helpful uses. When an IPod has access to internet connectivity it dramatically becomes more useful to the user. Skype is one of the many apps that can be downloaded onto an IPod touch. Skype is a worldwide network which connects users through real time voice and video chat. Users can download educational apps such as Arithmatick, Mathletics, Grammar Dragon and Lobster Diver. Research is helpful to users such as students who can access the internet to find vital information for school assignments and projects.

The IPod touch is a very useful device for everyday life. Since they were first released on the 23rd of December 2001, 297 million IPods have been sold throughout the world.

Glossary

Electronic Device: It is an object that runs on battery power which the user can take wherever they want.

Home page: The main page that has thumbnails of the most important applications the user has on the IPod.

Apps: An app is a program written for Apple devices and other hand held devices which can be downloaded from the internet onto the IPod or other devices.

Internet Connectivity: Joining to a device that links to worldwide connections.

Real time: Real time means in the present and is not recorded in the past or sent by email.

    WOW!!! Did you type the whole information report onto this page, or did you just copy it. That is alot of writing. My mum said that she learned alot about IPods after she read this information report.
