The top number is the numerator and the bottom number is the denominator. Most of you got this correct so well done. Some of 5W still need to learn what the denominator is. Let's learn it sooner rather than later!

How to Persuade

Firstly, thanks to Mrs Tann for creating our new and improved 5W banner. It looks brilliant!

Hands up if you are good at persuading. Yes, that's right, you all are! Here is a photo of the structure of a persuasive text.

Remember to always use evidence to support every argument you make. Without evidence can you be very persuasive?

Mathletics is Back!

We all love Mathletics so go and enjoy. Don't do this at home however if you have not finished your normal homework. It is more important that you do your homework and learn your spellings and times tables! When you have finished, you can click on the Mathletics picture above to take you to the sign in page.

This is for your parents so please show them. I forgot to share something this afternoon. It is important that all students know their times tables by the end of term 1. With fractions coming up, they need to know their times tables and will find fractions difficult if they don't know them back-to-front.
