A day in the life of a squirrel who is stronger than olive oil (Thanks Dan B)

Today's question, what was the point of this lesson?
If you can tell me both what the point of the lesson was and how this 'thing' happens, you will get a prize. Yes, that's right, if you answer the question correctly, you WILL get a prize.

By the way, 1 3/4 is a MIXED NUMERAL and the equivalent improper fraction is 7/4.

Keep laughing 5W!

  1. The whole point of the story was about surface tension and you used olive oil.

  2. Hi mr Walters

The lesson was about surface tension. The meaning for this is that it is a liquid caused by intermolecular forces.

  5. It taught us about the surface tension of diffrent liquids.

olive oil weakens the water surface tension and lets things fall through.

  8. Hi Mr Walters,
The point of the lesson is that anything can float as long as it weighs less than the force of the water molicules holding it up.
    This happens by surface tension.

  9. Hi Mr Walters
The point of the lesson was to teach us about 'surface tension'. Surface tension is caused when something on top of the water is lighter than the bonds holding the liquid molecules together.
    Thanks
