The Bilby

If you could choose a sense of the bilby, which one would it be and why?

Don't forget, when doing your homework prioritise what is the most important and do it first.

1/2 an hour of homework a night. Many of you are improving, keep it up!

I loved your SIZZLING STARTERS!

Senses

So what do you think is the sense you use most effectively?

How are you going with learning your ballad? Remember, you are telling the story, not just saying the words :)

Strike Gold!

If you were ever to find gold while panning, what would you do? What would you do? Would you tell everyone or keep it to yourself? Would you spend it or would you hide it in a safe place and leave it there for years and years?

Imagine if you were broke, what would you do with it then?

Australian Ballads

Are you ready for your challenge? Well here it is...

Your challenge is to choose an Australian ballad which you will say in front of the class in a couple of weeks. Go to this website and choose one of the ballads http://australianpoems.tripod.com/. There are plenty to choose from. Choose a ballad that you will enjoy tellling the story of.

Once you have chosen you ballad, print it off and bring it to school tomorrow.

To get a prize however, what you need to do is tell me what ballad you are doing by writing a comment on here. I look forward to having no jelly beans left tomorrow.

What are you waiting for, go and get searching!

  • Keep bringing in cans of drink and prizes.
  • Bring our Mothers Day Stall money tomorrow.
